Antaboga
The world serpent of the Indonesian cosmos, from whose meditation the world-turtle was born — the foundation beneath the foundation.
In Balinese and Javanese cosmology, before the world there existed Antaboga, the world serpent. Through meditation Antaboga brought forth the cosmic turtle Bedawang, upon whose shell coil two serpents, and upon all of which the world rests; when the foundations shift, the earth quakes. Antaboga also guards the underworld's waters and, in Javanese wayang tellings, shelters heroes in his subterranean palace between chapters of their lives. A cosmology of nested patience: beneath the world, a turtle; beneath the turtle, a meditation; beneath the meditation, a serpent — stillness as the deepest load-bearing structure there is.
The SGE Reading
Integration in layers: what ultimately bears the world's weight is not force but meditation — stillness generating the very ground.
Canon Resonance
The contemplative floor of the whole series: beneath every path, a practice; beneath every practice, the coiled stillness.
A Micro-Practice
For one week, treat ten minutes of daily stillness as structural — not self-care but foundation work. Log what stops shaking.
