Mantras for Lucid Dreaming
Track 17 · Gate IVThe Thin Hour

The Dream River

I create inside the dream

—:——:—

The mantra

Om Aiṃ Saraswatyai Namaha

What it means

I bow to Saraswati, goddess of the flowing — wisdom, music, speech, and the arts.

Source: Traditional bija mantra of the goddess of the arts

Why this one, at this hour

The lucid dream is the greatest studio ever built: whatever the dreamer imagines, appears. Saraswati — goddess of the flowing river of wisdom, music, speech and art — is its patron. At the thin hour she places the vina in your hands. The books you will write, the songs, the healings, the worlds: all of them are rehearsed first here, in the river of dream.

How to use it tonight

Lie down. Play it once at low volume, close enough to hear the words without straining. Say the mantra silently with the voice for as long as it is easy, then let it say itself. When the whispered line comes, do not repeat it — let it be planted. The album runs in order across the night; if you fall asleep before the end, that is the intended outcome.

The whispered line

I create inside the dream
