Por qué este, a esta hora
The last mantra of the night is the first truth of the day: you wake not alone in a room but held — as a child wakes in arms that carried her all night without her knowing. Mother, father, friend, knowledge, wealth: everything the night was, was one thing, and this verse finally names it. The flute plays its three notes openly now, resolved at last. They were the melody all along.
Cómo usarlo esta noche
Recuéstate. Ponlo una vez a volumen bajo, lo bastante cerca para oír las palabras sin esfuerzo. Repite el mantra en silencio junto a la voz mientras sea fácil, y luego deja que se diga solo. Cuando llegue la frase susurrada, no la repitas — deja que se siembre. El álbum avanza en orden a lo largo de la noche; si te duermes antes del final, eso es exactamente lo que se busca.
